# Event type discovery

Use the webhook event reference to discover public event types, schema availability, lifecycle category, and compatibility status.

## Availability labels

| Label              | Meaning                                                                                                                   |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `schema available` | The event has a published payload schema and can be used for payload-dependent integrations.                              |
| `schema pending`   | The event is part of the public lifecycle surface, but payload-dependent integrations should wait for schema publication. |
| `planned`          | The event is planned for the public surface but is not currently emitted.                                                 |
